September fun on Navarre Beach

Summer is fading, but the fun’s far from out of season on Navarre Beach. Here are a few fun events going on this month. The highlight will definitely be Juana’s Good Time Regatta. It’s a can’t miss!

 

29th Annual Juana Good Time Regatta

Sept. 6, 7 and 8

Designed for both experienced and novice racers. Open to all sizes of multi-hull sailboats, from beach cats and trimarans to cruisers. Race all weekend with great food and live music at Juana’s Pagodas on Navarre Beach, 1451 Navarre Beach Causeway. Sand Dollar Saturday and Local Marketplace

Sept. 7, 9 a.m.

Join the merchants of Sand Dollar Plaza on the first Saturday of each month for a community and customer appreciation event. Bands on the Blackwater

Sept. 13, 20 and 27, 7 – 9 p.m.

Bands on the Blackwater is a free outdoor concert series held Friday nights during the fall in downtown Milton at Jernigan’s Landing on Blackwater River. Shell Flower Making Class at Artistry 98

Sept. 9, 16, 23 and 30, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Shark School at the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

Sept. 12 and 26, 9 – 10 a.m.

Shark School students will learn about our local gulf coast sharks, shark biology and shark conservation. Students will also enjoy arts and crafts, a shark tooth treasure hunt and early entry into the center. The Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center is located at 8740 Gulf Boulevard in Navarre. Painting Events at Pik-Itz hosted by Art Uncorked Navarre

Art Uncorked – Navarre is designed to help uncork creative spirit, uncork fun with friends and uncork a bottle of a favorite beverage at group painting classes. Each class has different artwork. Activities include: corn box, horse and regular swings, spider web, pirate ship, zip lines, pedal tractors on racetrack, hill slides, rat racers, sand box, and an eight-acre corn maze with kiddie maze. Trash Bash with the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

Sept. 28, 8 – 10 a.m.

Meet up to clean up! Volunteers for a beach cleanup will meet in the main Navarre Beach Parking lot near the Sand Crab pavilion.
