Navarre Beach Pier

Open everyday from sun up to sun down. Take a walk out on Navarre’s newest addition. This pier is a half mile long. Fishermen can be spotted on it daily casting their lines. The cost for walking out on the pier is $1.00 and $7.00 to fish. Also, at the base of the pier stop in for a cool drink at Lagerheads on the Gulf.

Navarre Park

Navarre Park is great place to take the children to play. The children’s water play area includes fun sprinklers that are appropriate for even little swimmers. The park also features a playground and duck pond.

The park is located next to the Butterfly House at the intersection of the Navarre Beach Bridge and Hwy. 98.

Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center

Spreading awareness and helping turtles with life threatening injuries is the focus of the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center. All seven types of sea turtles are endangered and four of them frequent the Navarre Beach area. Visitors can take a break from the sun for a bit to enjoy educational and entertaining programs at the facility or even to do some local shopping.
The gift shop, affectionately called the Seamore Store, features beautiful art work and jewelry created by local artists along with gifts for children and literature about sea turtles. Also, inside the center are activities for visitors, especially younger ones, to enjoy including a very realistic nesting bay and life-size art of four types of sea turtles that will allow you to see how you compare in size.

The Zoo

Gulf Breeze Zoo is a wonderful learning experience for all ages. The Zoo is home to over 900 animal species including gorillas, a Great Indian rhinoceros, monkeys, wildebeest, kangaroo, and more. You can feed alligators at the Gator Hole, feed a giraffe, visit the petting zoo, or take a ride on the Safari Line Ltd. The Safari Line Ltd. is a safari train ride through 30 acres of free-roaming animals in their habitats. The Zoo is just 15 minutes from Navarre Beach. Take a left off of the Navarre Beach Bridge and travel 8 miles west on Hwy. 98. The Zoo will be on the left side of the road.

Panhandle Butterfly House

The Panhandle Butterfly House is a non-profit program. Their mission is to educate the public on butterflies and ways to preserve butterfly habitats. The Butterfly House features indoor and outdoor gardens and a butterfly nursery. The Butterfly House is located at the intersection of the Navarre Beach Bridge and Hwy. 98.

The Gulfarium

The Gulfarium is the world’s oldest marine show aquarium. Their mission is to provide education about sea life inhabitants and entertain at the same time. Catch one of the Gulfarium’s sea lion or dolphin shows. Their exhibits also feature sharks, sting rays, Loggerhead turtles, otters, tropical penguins, and tropical birds. To get to the Gulfarium, make a right onto Hwy. 98 from the Navarre Beach Bridge. Travel approximately 16.3 miles east on Hwy. 98 E. The Gulfarium will be on the right.

National Museum of Naval Aviation

The National Museum of Naval Aviation is located at the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Admission is free and you can see and touch over 150 restored Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard aircraft. Try your hand at flying in the flight simulators and visit the Naval Aviation Memorial Theatre where you can catch an IMAX film. You can also grab lunch or dessert in the authentic Cubi Bar Café, which is an exhibit itself. It replicates the bar area of the Cubi Point Officers’ Club that was a stop for many Navy and Marine Corps squadrons, ships and units on their way to the Western Pacific.

See the permanent exhibit of Navarre’s own ceramic arts exhibit. Created by the Gulf Coast Kiln Walk Society, these beautiful works of art range from pottery vessels to sculptural fired clay. Explore various kiln firing and glazing methods and celebrate artistic traditions of the Gulf Coast.

Big Kahunas Water Park

Big Kahunas Water Park features a Lazy River, speed slides, body flumes, white water tubing, two wave pools, four children’s areas with kid-sized slides, leisurely lagoons, and more. They also offer non-water activities like miniature golf and go-carts. To get to Big Kahunas, take a right off of the Navarre Beach Bridge and travel approximately 24 miles east on Hwy. 98.

The Track

The Track provides excitement for the whole family on their go-carts, thrill rides, bumper rides, and miniature golf course. The Track is next to Big Kahunas on Hwy. 98.
